Rewa midfielder Tevita Waranaivalu has been awarded the inaugural Golden Ball for the Digicel Fiji Premier League, recognizing him as the most outstanding player of the season. Waranaivalu played in nearly all of Rewa’s 18 matches, significantly contributing to the team’s victory, which secured their second title and a spot in the OFC Champions League in 2025.
In addition to his club success, Waranaivalu has consistently performed for the Digicel Bula Boys this season and is expected to be a key player for the Delta Tigers in their upcoming semifinal match against Navua in the 2024 FMF Inter District Championship (IDC). The semifinal against Navua is scheduled for 4:30 PM, following the first semifinal matchup between Labasa and Nadi at 2 PM.
