Rewa midfielder Tevita Waranaivalu has been awarded the inaugural Golden Ball for the Digicel Fiji Premier League, recognizing him as the most outstanding player in the league this season. Waranaivalu played a crucial role in nearly all of Rewa’s 18 matches, contributing significantly to the team’s success in securing their second title and a spot in the OFC Champions League in 2025.
Additionally, he has consistently performed well for the Digicel Bula Boys this season and is expected to be a pivotal player for the Delta Tigers in their semifinal match against Navua today in the 2024 FMF Inter District Championship (IDC). Rewa will meet Navua at 4:30 PM in the second semifinal, while Labasa will face Nadi in the first semifinal at 2 PM.
