Mahatma Gandhi Memorial School and Nasinu Secondary School have both earned their places in the national quarter-finals of the Deans competition.
In the Southern Zone U18 semi-finals at Bidesi Park, Suva, MGM narrowly defeated Suva Grammar School 27-22, while Nasinu clinched a close victory over Marist Brothers High School, winning 24-22.
Despite Nasinu playing with 14 players for most of the first half and later with 13 after a second red card, they managed to secure a hard-fought win.
Nasinu Secondary School will now face MGM in the final at the HFC Bank Stadium next Saturday.
In the Eastern Division, defending champions Queen Victoria School will compete against Ratu Kadavulevu School in the finals after QVS defeated Tailevu North College 18-15, while RKS tied 15-15 with Lelean Memorial School.
