Telecom Fiji Teams Up with Kiwi Firm for Cutting-Edge Cybersecurity Solution

Telecom Fiji has partnered with Advantage New Zealand to enhance its cybersecurity offerings through a managed detection and response (MDR) service that utilizes SentinelOne technology. This advanced cybersecurity software effectively identifies and neutralizes cyber threats, such as ransomware, in real-time before they can inflict damage.

With this partnership, Telecom Fiji aims to provide its clients with round-the-clock cyber threat detection, response, and mitigation services, leveraging both artificial intelligence and expert human oversight to safeguard their digital assets. Shalvin Narayan, Telecom Fiji’s head of ICT, emphasized the critical role of maintaining the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of digital information to ensure uninterrupted service delivery amidst potential online threats.

Mr. Narayan noted that the collaboration with Advantage is rooted in their proven capabilities, including obtaining ISO 270001 certification and recognition through multiple industry awards. Steve Smith, the Auckland regional manager for Advantage, highlighted that SentinelOne technology is integral to Advantage-Protect’s MDR service, which addresses the increasing risks of data loss and security breaches.
