Three teenagers are scheduled to appear in the Suva Magistrates Court today, facing charges related to the alleged rape of a 13-year-old boy in Lami last month. The accused include two juveniles, aged 13 and 15, and an 18-year-old.
According to reports, the incident occurred towards the end of August when the trio allegedly coerced the victim into performing sexual acts at a relative’s home. The case was brought to light when the victim’s mother reported the matter to the Lami Police Station earlier this week.
The three individuals have been charged with rape and will appear before the Suva Magistrates Court today.
