Seventeen-year-old Ryan Singh delivered an impressive display, leading Rakiraki to a 2-1 victory against Northland Tailevu in the second Senior Division semifinal of the 2024 FMF Inter District Championship held in Lautoka today. Singh, a Year 12 student from Penang Sangam College and the youngest captain in the tournament, played a pivotal role in central defense, successfully preventing the fast-paced Northland Tailevu from finding the back of the net.
Following a scoreless first half, Rakiraki intensified their efforts and secured goals from Sandeep Ram and seasoned player Asaeli Cobuta. With this win, Rakiraki is set to face Dreketi in the grand final scheduled for tomorrow at 10 AM.
