Seventeen-year-old Ryan Singh showcased an outstanding performance, leading Rakiraki to a 2-1 triumph over Northland Tailevu in the second Senior Division semifinal of the 2024 FMF Inter District Championship in Lautoka.
The Year 12 student from Penang Sangam College is the youngest captain in the tournament and played a crucial role in central defense, effectively preventing the pacey Northland Tailevu side from scoring.
Following a scoreless first half, Rakiraki intensified their efforts, securing goals from Sandeep Ram and veteran Asaeli Cobuta.
Rakiraki is set to face Dreketi in the grand final tomorrow at 10 am.
