The Waidamudamu Golf Group kicked off the new year with camaraderie at the Fiji Golf Club in Vatuwaqa, Suva. Members gathered for a round of golf, creating a festive atmosphere filled with light-hearted fun. Notable attendees included the Speaker of Parliament, Filimone Jitoko, and Indonesian Ambassador, Dupito Simamora.

Sai Tokalau, the group’s president, shared insights into the significant philanthropic efforts the organization undertook throughout the previous year. The group has consistently contributed to various charities, collecting funds from their golf games. This past year, they supported Dilkusha Home, Homes of Hope, and the Chevalier Boys Hostel, reflecting their commitment to giving back to the community.

Tokalau expressed optimism for the upcoming year, hoping to increase their contributions. He emphasized the diversity within the group, which comprises members from various ethnic backgrounds and high-ranking positions in society, including ambassadors and the Prime Minister, Sitiveni Rabuka.
