“Team Chemistry Key to Extra Supermarket Rewa’s Success in BOG Semi-Final Clash”

Extra Supermarket Rewa’s football team will rely on their team chemistry as their key to victory against Flick Hygiene Lautoka in the Rooster Chicken/ Scoops Ice Cream Battle of the Giants (BOG) semi-final at HFC Bank Stadium this Saturday at 2 pm.

“Preparation has been going well as we had favorable weather for training, and the team bonding has been great,” said team manager Peter Singh. “The players had a productive training session and recovery this week in preparation for the semi-finals.”

Singh noted that it was a positive sign that the players were fit and injury-free following their pool games. “We should be able to score goals as long as the players stay focused in the semi-final,” he stated. “We are capable of managing our defense and scoring goals. Our Solomon import has been performing exceptionally well, and I believe he’s the highest goal scorer in the tournament.”

Singh added that fan support would help the team gain momentum. “We urge our fans to come and cheer for our team as the game will be fast-paced and entertaining,” he said. “We respect Lautoka as they are a formidable team that will put up a fight.”

The team is working on balancing the chemistry between experienced and young players. “The players are eager to taste victory in the BOG tournament, as it has been some time since we last won the Fiji Fact and BOG trophy,” Singh remarked.

The second semi-final will feature hosts Suva against Nadi at 4:30 pm.
