Education Minister Aseri Radrodro has revealed a significant payout of $988,648.30 that will be distributed as part of the final pay for 2024, exclusively for teachers who have enhanced their qualifications in alignment with the Teacher Remuneration Policy.

This initiative represents a substantial investment in the education sector, totaling $2.3 million earmarked for the 2024-2025 financial year. Qualified educators will see their pay levels permanently increased to either Band E, Step 1, or Band F, Step 3 within the Fiji Civil Service pay structure.
