A bench warrant has been issued for suspended schoolteacher Kishore Kumar, who is facing serious allegations related to unauthorized access to computer systems and the distribution of harmful electronic communications. Mr. Kumar did not appear before Magistrate Jeremaia Savou in Suva to address the charges against him.
The accusations indicate that between May 1 and May 23 last year, Mr. Kumar allegedly gained unauthorized access to a Facebook account belonging to another individual. Subsequently, he is accused of posting derogatory content aimed at Assistant Minister for Foreign Affairs, Lenora Qereqeretabua.
The return date for the bench warrant is set for February 6 next year, indicating that the legal proceedings regarding this case are moving forward and will be addressed in court.
