Tavua is set to make a vigorous effort this Saturday in their Premier League Promotion Final Play-Off against Bua. Dr. Diva Singh, Tavua’s head coach and player, expressed that the team is aware of the high expectations from their supporters, particularly since the match will take place on their home ground.
“This is significant for both the players and the fans. We’ve worked hard to remain undefeated in nine matches, and we are determined to put up a strong performance to secure our position,” he stated.
Singh emphasized the team’s game plan, stating, “We know we need to score, so the players will focus on offense rather than defense. We will give our all from the first whistle until the end of the match.”
He also mentioned that the team is prepared for the upcoming challenge and anticipates enthusiastic backing from their home crowd. Tavua must win by a margin of two goals to return to the top division. If they manage a 1-0 victory, the game will go into extra time, and a penalty shootout will occur if no additional goals are scored.
