Tavua achieved a commanding 6-0 victory over Northland Tailevu in the Digicel Senior League yesterday, putting them in a strong position to regain their Premier Division status next season.

Strikers Ratu Sairusi Nalewadonu and Waisea Duwai each scored two goals, while Captain Malakai Tiwa and Manasa Nawakula also contributed to the scoreboard.

Under the leadership of Dr. Diva Singh, the Gold Miners have remained undefeated this season, scoring over 30 goals in their eight victories.

With key reinforcements such as Solomon Islander Julius Suava and experienced goalkeeper Josaia Ratu, the team has strengthened its lineup and is looking forward to the 2025 season with confidence, as they are close to securing the Senior title, with an upcoming two-legged final against the winners of the Northern Division.
