Tavua football team has achieved promotion to the Digicel Premier League for the 2025 season. In a decisive second-leg playoff, Tavua defeated Bua 3-1 after losing the first-leg 1-0 in Bua. Playing at their home ground in Garvey Park, Tavua showcased a strong performance. Vilitati Kautoga opened the scoring, followed shortly by Manasa Nawakula, who doubled the lead. Ratu Nalewadonu then scored the final goal, sealing the victory and ensuring Tavua’s spot in the top division for the upcoming season.
