The Tavua football team has secured promotion to the Digicel Premier League for the 2025 season. The team achieved this by defeating Bua 3-1 in the second-leg playoff. Following a 1-0 defeat in the first-leg playoff, Tavua needed a victory to advance. Playing on their home turf at Garvey Park, Tavua showcased their strength, with Vilitati Kautoga scoring the first goal. Shortly after, Manasa Nawakula extended their lead, and Ratu Nalewadonu added the final goal, sealing Bua’s fate. This decisive win guarantees Tavua a spot in the top division for the upcoming season.
