Tavua is set to give its all this Saturday in the Premier League Promotion Final Play-Off against Bua. Head coach and player Dr. Diva Singh expressed that the team feels a significant weight of expectations from friends and family, particularly since they are playing on their home ground.
“It’s a crucial moment for the players and the fans. We’ve come a long way with nine matches undefeated, so we are determined to fight hard for the top spot,” Singh stated. He emphasized the need for the team to score, indicating that they will not focus on defense and will be aggressive from the start.
Singh mentioned that the players are prepared for the challenge and are anticipating strong support from the fans at home. For Tavua to reclaim their spot in the top division, they must win by two goals. A victory of 1-0 would result in extra time, with penalties to follow if no further goals are scored.
