Tamavua Robbery: Two Men Charged in Aggravated Case

Two men in their twenties have been charged and brought before the court in connection with an aggravated robbery that took place in Tamavua last month. According to police reports, the individuals, aged 29 and 27, allegedly broke into the home of a 46-year-old man on October 30, where they stole cash, a mobile phone, and various other items before escaping the scene.

The suspects were apprehended last week and subsequently charged with aggravated robbery. They appeared at the Suva Magistrates Court on November 4, 2024, where they were remanded in custody. The case has been scheduled for mention on November 18.
