Tamavua Robbery Suspects Face Court After Shocking Crime

Two men in their twenties have been charged and appeared in court following their alleged involvement in an aggravated robbery that took place in Tamavua last month. According to police reports, the individuals, aged 29 and 27, are accused of breaking into the residence of a 46-year-old man on October 30. During the incident, they reportedly stole cash, a mobile phone, and various other items before escaping the scene.

The accused were apprehended last week and subsequently charged with aggravated robbery. They made their court appearance at the Suva Magistrates Court on November 4, 2024, and have been remanded in custody. The case has been scheduled for mention on November 18.
