Evergreen Labasa goalkeeper Simione Tamanisau has secured a position in the 29-member extended squad of the Bula Boys for the upcoming matches in the FIFA World Cup 2026 Oceania Qualifiers. The 42-year-old player recently earned the Golden Glove award during the 2024 FMF Inter District Championship (IDC), leading the Babasiga Lions to victory in Lautoka.
Joining Tamanisau in the squad are in-form striker Christopher Wasasala and reliable defender Sekove Naivakananumi. Nadi goalkeeper Joela Biuvanua has also been included, taking the place of Rewa’s Isikeli Sevanaia, who was dropped due to disciplinary issues.
The team will commence their training camp on Sunday, October 29, at the Fiji FA Academy in Ba.
