Tailevu Naitasiri aims to enhance their goal-scoring abilities as they prepare to face Rewa in round 12 of the DFPL this week.
Coach Priyant Mannu acknowledges that his team possesses depth and speed, but minor mistakes hindered their scoring opportunities, especially in their recent match against Ba.
“There were a lot of missed opportunities in the game against Ba, so going forward we will work hard on our finishing,” Mannu stated.
Despite losing two veteran players during the transfer window, Mannu remains optimistic about the younger talents stepping up.
“We lost two experienced players from our squad in the transfer window, but we have young boys who can take their place. It was evident in the game against Ba; we picked up our pace,” he added, expressing confidence about their performance in the upcoming round.
Tailevu Naitasiri will face Rewa at Ratu Cakobau Park, Nausori at 3pm this Sunday.
