Tailevu Naitasiri FC Climbs the Standings with Key Victory

Tailevu Naitasiri FC has climbed to ninth place in the Digicel Fiji Premier League standings after a vital 1-0 win over Nasinu FC in round 15.

The match was closely contested, but a single goal was enough for Tailevu Naitasiri to claim all three points. This win boosts their chances of ascending further in the table, bringing them to 12 points, with a superior goal difference compared to Nasinu FC.

Rewa FC remains at the top of the table with 31 points, followed closely by Labasa FC at 29 points. Lautoka FC holds third place with 25 points after 14 matches.

DPL leaders Rewa FC, second-placed Lautoka FC, Rooster Chicken Ba FC, and Nadroga FC had a bye last weekend, as Lautoka and Rewa have five players in the national team camp preparing for the upcoming FIFA International “A” Friendlies Tri-Nations Series featuring Fiji, Hong Kong-China, and the Solomon Islands next month.

The Digicel Fiji Premier League will take a break for a week and is scheduled to resume on September 14.
