The General Secretary of the People’s Alliance Party has announced that internal procedures are underway to determine the future of party member and MP Lynda Tabuya. Tabuya was recently removed from her cabinet position following the leak of an explicit video.

Balawa stated that the disciplinary committee is actively addressing Tabuya’s situation and has assured that she will have the opportunity to present her side before the committee. This investigation is set to be completed within a 21-day timeframe, during which the committee will compile a report for the party leadership.
