Authorities are currently investigating the troubling discovery of hundreds of packaged syringes that washed ashore at Rifle Range in Vatuwaqa. Local resident Pita Simpson reported the find, raising alarm over Fiji’s growing drug crisis.
Acting Commissioner of Police Sakeo Raikaci described the incident as “extremely concerning” and has called for stricter monitoring on the sale of syringes.
