Sydney Suva clinched the Rams Group of Companies 10th Sanatan World Cup title with a 2-0 victory over Labasa in an exciting final. Young talent Marcus Lal gave Suva an early lead, although he later missed a penalty opportunity.
Despite efforts from Labasa’s Anish Khem and Ashnil Raju to turn the tide, Suva’s defense, anchored by goalkeeper Jerome Narayan, along with Krishneel Dutt and Kishan Sami, held strong. Former Nadi striker Shivneel Pillay effectively secured the win for Suva with an excellent goal midway through the second half, further compounded by Labasa’s Melvin Mani being sent off, leaving the team with ten players.
In individual accolades, Narayan received the Golden Glove, while Lal earned the Golden Boot for scoring seven goals in the tournament. Pranit Singh was awarded the title of Most Valuable Player, and Sydney Suva was recognized as the Best Disciplined Team.
