Marist Brothers High School and Drasa Avenue School showcased their prowess on the first day of the 2025 National Schools Age Group Swimming Championships, dominating both the boys’ and girls’ divisions. Marist Brothers excelled in the boys’ category, securing a total of 20 medals, which included 11 gold, six silver, and three bronze. This performance underscores their depth and strength in various swimming events.
Drasa Avenue School also shined brightly, topping the girls’ division with an outstanding medal haul of 23, comprised of nine gold, eight silver, and six bronze medals—the highest overall count across both divisions. St Joseph’s Secondary School followed in the girls’ standings with 18 medals, while Swami Vivekananda College maintained a competitive presence in both divisions.
