Swifts Claim Super League Glory with Dominant Victory

Suva Swifts IGA has emerged as the champions of the 2024 Finance Hub Super League Title, securing a decisive victory over Lautoka Stars with a score of 69-35 at the FNU Gymnasium in Nasinu on Saturday.

The Suva Swifts displayed remarkable energy and strength throughout the match, dominating their Western rivals who struggled to keep pace with the Swifts’ performance. From the outset, both teams put forth their best efforts, but as the game approached the final quarter, it became clear that Suva would claim the win.

In other matches, the Baby Pearls Kikau team achieved a resounding victory against the Nadroga Stallions, finishing with a score of 61-28. The Kikau team maintained their lead from the first quarter, ultimately winning by a significant 33 points, placing them in fifth position in the standings.

Additionally, the Tailevu Doves secured a 30-20 victory over the Nadi Netball team, allowing them to climb to seventh place after the match. Following the win, Doves president Seini Soroacagi expressed that this success would motivate the team to enhance their preparations for next year’s competition.

While the women’s teams were competing fiercely, the national men’s netball teams also showcased their talents in a curtain-raiser before the final match between Suva Swifts IGA and Lautoka Stars.
