Trials for the Suva Volleyball Association (SVA) ahead of the 2025 Fiji Volleyball Federation’s club championships have been rescheduled to tomorrow. This decision was made due to adverse weather conditions that impacted the originally planned date, as announced on the SVA’s Facebook page.
The trials are set to take place in three sessions, allowing players from ten selected clubs to showcase their skills against one another. The first men’s session will kick off tomorrow, January 11, from 7:30 AM to 9 AM at the USP Gym in Laucala Bay, Suva. Following this, the women’s session will run from 9:30 AM to 12 PM at the same venue. In the evening, the men will return for another session from 5 PM to 7 PM, this time at Hall A of the Vodafone Arena in Suva.
These trials are crucial for selecting players who will represent the association in the forthcoming competitive events. The participants were chosen from clubs including Tamavua Bulls, USP, Naiqasiqasi Brothers, Avengers, Redline, Hanua Heat, Vision, Dateline Titans, Moskoi, and the Marines. The SVA emphasized via their social media communication the importance of attendance at these trials for any chance of selection.
