The Church Futsal Brothers competition, held at the FMF Gymnasium in Suva, focused on spreading the message of God while fostering camaraderie among attendees. This year’s event featured 16 teams, bringing together participants from various regions, including the West, to promote unity within the church community.

Benjamin Rahul, the team president, highlighted the competition’s mission: to gather people in celebration of Jesus, spreading His teachings through sport. “The Church Futsal Brothers competition is all about bringing churches together in one harmony,” he stated. “Our main motive is to have people come together to celebrate the name of Jesus, fostering a spirit of praise and glory.”

Now in its second year, the event has been well-received, with participants enjoying the opportunity to connect, deepen their faith, and engage in friendly competition. Rahul noted the significance of unity and fellowship, expressing gratitude for the ongoing support from the community.

The competition not only emphasizes the joy of playing futsal but also serves as a platform for spiritual enrichment, making it a meaningful event for all involved. As it continues to grow, the Church Futsal Brothers competition represents hope and a strong sense of community, encouraging individuals to come together in faith and fellowship.
