The SUVA Warriors cricket team triumphed in the 2025 National Easter Cricket tournament, ending the reign of defending champions Kabara with a seven-wicket victory at Albert Park. Captain Makutu Seru noted that the team had only gathered for practice two days prior to the tournament due to work commitments. “We didn’t have any preparation, but we communicated that our experience and mutual belief could carry us through,” he stated.
