The Suva under-14 boys Kaji rugby team triumphed over Ra with a score of 14-0 in the cup final of the Vodafone National Kaji & Kajiana Championship 2024, held at the HFC Bank Stadium on Thursday. The match showcased impressive skills from both teams, ultimately leading to Suva’s victory.
Coach Ilisoni Tagivetaua expressed his gratitude towards his players for their hard work and dedication throughout the three-day tournament, which commenced earlier in the week. He acknowledged the significance of the victory, highlighting the sacrifices made by the team. “I certainly would like to thank my boys for the job well done today and all the sacrifices, hard work, and perseverance paid off, and I also would like to thank the Ra team,” Tagivetaua stated.

Tagivetaua emphasized the importance of addressing their previous performance, stating that the team worked on refining key aspects to secure the win. “We went back and regrouped and tried to get the basics right,” he noted.
