The launch of a $75 million Hilton Garden Inn project is poised to significantly reshape the tourism landscape of the city, according to Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka. He noted that this investment marks a major advancement for the nation’s capital.
“This project highlights Fiji’s expanding reputation as a leading investment destination and is set to strengthen our economy, create employment opportunities, and position Suva as a prime location for both tourists and business travelers,” he said.
Rabuka urged others to draw inspiration from such undertakings, emphasizing their importance for the nation’s future growth.
The 178-room hotel, expected to be completed by August 2025, will offer high-end amenities, including a gym, swimming pool, restaurant, and bar. This venture represents just the initial phase, with plans for a waterfront retail development to follow, aimed at further enhancing Suva’s attractiveness.
