A violent altercation outside a well-known nightclub in Suva has resulted in six individuals requiring hospitalization, with two of them currently unconscious. Authorities report that these two patients, along with a third person who is stable, are receiving medical care at the Colonial War Memorial Hospital. In addition, three others involved in the incident are being treated at Sigatoka Hospital, all of whom are reported to be in stable condition.

Preliminary investigations suggest that some participants in the brawl are affiliated with a Rugby League club from Sigatoka, which held its awards night in Suva the night prior to the incident. Assistant Commissioner of Police Operations, Livai Driu, has assured the public that the police team in the Central Division is actively working to apprehend those responsible for the violence.
