The NewWorld Suva Netball Association finals proved to be a resounding success, featuring a total of 50 matches held at the FMF Gymnasium in Suva on Monday. The competition, which kicked off in June, witnessed a remarkable turnout with 79 teams registered for the weekly games.

In the finals, Angel’s grade Ablaze Angles Red claimed victory against Tagimoucia Jasper, finishing with an 11-8 scoreline. Meanwhile, in the Roses grade, Grasshoppers Netters secured a win over Ablaze Roses.

Lomaiviti Green triumphed in the Princess grade, defeating Ablaze Red with a score of 19-10, while Grasshoppers Ferns in the Development grade overcame Lomaiviti Koro Green, winning 29-21.

In the Premier grade, Army emerged victorious over Huva Stallions, finishing the match at 42-24. In the Super grade, Lomaiviti Ovalau defeated Flames with a score of 55-44.

The Major grade featured a close contest where Lomaiviti Maloi narrowly lost to CBM Sharks with a score of 31-30. Lastly, in the Queens grade, Lomaiviti Batiki bested Ablaze Queen, finishing with a score of 21-17.

Overall, the finals delivered an exciting finale to the season for all the teams involved.
