The NewWorld Suva Netball Association finals proved to be a great success, featuring a total of 50 matches at the FMF Gymnasium in Suva on Monday. The competition, which kicked off in June, attracted a record of 79 registered teams participating in weekly games.

In the finals, Angel’s grade Ablaze Angles Red claimed victory against Tagimoucia Jasper with a final score of 11-8, while Roses grade Grasshoppers Netters triumphed over Ablaze Roses. In the Princess grade, Lomaiviti Green outperformed Ablaze Red with a score of 19-10. Development grade Grasshoppers Ferns also celebrated a win against Lomaiviti Koro Green, finishing at 29-21.

In the premier tier, Army defeated Huva Stallions 42-24, while in the Super grade, Lomaiviti Ovalau overcame Flames with a score of 55-44. The Major grade saw Lomaiviti Maloi narrowly lose to CBM Sharks, ending 31-30, while in the Queens grade, Lomaiviti Batiki secured a win against Ablaze Queen, beating them 21-17.

Overall, the finals marked an exciting end to the season for all teams involved.
