Suva Netball Association and Newworld IGA: A Winning Partnership Continues!

The Suva Netball Association has renewed its partnership with Newworld IGA for an additional two years. This collaboration, which has been successful for over a decade, will see the Suva Netball continue to be branded as Newworld IGA Suva Netball, further contributing to the growth of the sport.

Sameer Patel, a representative of Newworld IGA, expressed excitement about the ongoing support, while Suva Netball President Alumeci Sachs acknowledged the essential role that Newworld has played in the association’s achievements.

Sachs noted that the Suva Netball Association is proud that many of their Open Players wear the National Uniform. She also mentioned that the U21 Suva Players have been chosen to participate in both the NWYC Oceania Qualifiers in Cook Islands and the Maori Netball International Secondary School Tour this year.

This season, the Suva Netball Association has registered over 80 teams, solidifying its status as the largest netball association in the country.

The partnership will be formally celebrated at a ceremony on September 30 at Lot 1 Viria Road, Vatuwaqa. The renewed sponsorship will allow Suva Netball to offer greater opportunities for players and technical officials, engage with the community, and host events that promote and celebrate the sport.
