“Suva Netball and Newworld IGA: A Winning Partnership Continues!”

The Suva Netball Association has announced the extension of its partnership with Newworld IGA for an additional two years. This ongoing collaboration has flourished for over a decade and will continue to enhance the development of the sport under the name Newworld IGA Suva Netball.

Sameer Patel, a representative from Newworld IGA, expressed his excitement about the continuing support, while Suva Netball President Alumeci Sachs acknowledged Newworld’s vital contribution to the association’s achievements.

Sachs also noted that the association takes pride in many of their Open Players wearing the National Uniform. She highlighted that the U21 Suva Players have been selected to participate in the NWYC Oceania Qualifiers in the Cook Islands and the Maori Netball International Secondary School Tour this year.

This season, the Suva Netball Association has registered over 80 teams, solidifying its status as the largest netball association in the nation.

A ceremony to officially mark the renewed partnership will take place on September 30 at Lot 1 Viria Road, Vatuwaqa. The renewed sponsorship is expected to provide enhanced opportunities for players, technical officials, foster community engagement, and facilitate events that celebrate and promote netball.
