The Suva Netball Association has renewed its partnership with Newworld IGA for an additional two years. This collaboration, which has thrived for over a decade, will continue to brand Suva Netball as Newworld IGA Suva Netball, promoting the growth of the sport.
Sameer Patel, a representative from Newworld IGA, expressed his excitement for the ongoing support, while Alumeci Sachs, the president of Suva Netball, thanked Newworld for its essential contribution to the association’s accomplishments.
Ms. Sachs noted that the Suva Netball Association takes pride in seeing many of their Open Players represent the National Team. She also mentioned that the U21 Suva Players have been selected to participate in both the NWYC Oceania Qualifiers in the Cook Islands and the Maori Netball International Secondary School Tour this year.
This season, the Suva Netball Association registered over 80 teams, solidifying its status as the largest netball association in the country. The partnership will be commemorated with a ceremony on September 30 at Lot 1 Viria Road, Vatuwaqa.
The renewed sponsorship will enable Suva Netball to create exceptional opportunities for players and technical officials, engage with the community, and host events that celebrate and promote the sport.
