Suva Grammar School’s Under-18 rugby team, under the leadership of principal Iosefo Masivue, is eager to continue improving as they progress in the Vodafone Deans Southern Zone competition. Following a recent victory over CMF College, where they secured a 29-11 win on their home ground, the team has begun to analyze their performance critically.
Masivue noted that while the victory adds to their standings, it underscored the need for further refinement in their gameplay. He expressed appreciation for the competitive spirit demonstrated by CMF College, thanking them for providing such a challenging match. “This game pushed our players to their limits and served as a crucial reminder of the areas we need to enhance,” Masivue stated.
Suva Grammar, despite their recent win bringing their tally to one victory out of two matches, is focused on leveraging the lessons learned to bolster their performance for the next match coming up this Saturday. They are intent on building a solid foundation to compete effectively as they aim for success in the upcoming rounds of the competition.
This commitment to improvement echoes Suva Grammar’s previous successes, including their capabilities showcased in past competitions and their achievements in the under-15 and under-16 categories of the Vodafone Super Deans titles. The continuous growth and dedication within the school’s rugby program harbor optimism for their upcoming challenges.
In light of these activities, the Suva Grammar community remains hopeful and supportive, rallying behind their team with a shared ambition to strive for excellence on the rugby field.
