Suva Grammar School emerged victorious in the Vodafone Deans U16 Finals, defeating Lelean Memorial School with a score of 29-12 in an exciting match held at the HFC Bank Stadium. SGS started strong, scoring a converted try early in the first quarter. LMS quickly equalized with their own converted try, but SGS reclaimed the lead with another try at the 16-minute mark, leading 12-7. By halftime, SGS had widened their advantage to 19-7 following a well-executed try and conversion.
In the second half, SGS continued to dominate despite having a try disallowed. They managed to score yet another try, bringing the score to 24-7. LMS fought back with an additional try, narrowing the margin to 24-12. However, SGS secured their win with a final try and conversion in the last minutes, wrapping up the match at 29-12.
