Suva Grammar School secured the Vodafone Deans U16 Finals title with a convincing 29-12 victory over Lelean Memorial School at the HFC Bank Stadium. SGS took an early lead, scoring a converted try in the first quarter. LMS quickly equalized with their own converted try, but SGS regained the advantage with another try in the 16th minute, leading 12-7. By halftime, SGS had increased their lead to 19-7 with a well-executed try and successful conversion.
In the second half, SGS maintained their dominance, even after a try was disallowed. They continued to press and scored another try, making it 24-7. LMS managed to add a try, narrowing the score to 24-12, but SGS capped off their win with a final try and conversion in the last minutes, concluding the match at 29-12.
