The capital city boys are fully aware of the expectations resting on their shoulders as they prepare intensively for the semifinals.
Under the leadership of coach Babs Khan, Suva Football is tackling its challenges head-on while adapting to a new coaching strategy this season.
Coach Khan highlights the team’s dedication to adapting to his tactical style ahead of the semifinals.
Despite their ability to maintain possession and link passes together, Khan points out that turning these opportunities into goals remains their main challenge.
“We could complete 250 passes, but if we do not score, it doesn’t count. Finishing is an area we are working on, and it’s a major concern for me,” he stated.
With the semifinals approaching, Khan urges all fans to come out and support the team.
“Please come and support us in the semifinals; you’ll see a different team,” he assured, expressing hope that the team will meet the elevated expectations of their supporters.
The Flick Hygiene Suva side will face Smart Security/Calgary Nadi at 4:30 PM this Saturday at the HFC Bank Stadium in Suva.
