The capital city boys are aware of the weight of expectations on their shoulders and are preparing intensely for the semifinals.
Under the guidance of coach Babs Khan, the Suva Football team is tackling its challenges directly as they adjust to yet another new coaching strategy this season.
Khan emphasizes the team’s dedication to adapting to his tactical style ahead of the semifinals.
Despite their ability to maintain possession and string passes together, Khan notes that converting these opportunities into goals remains their main challenge.
“We could complete 250 passes but if we do not score, it does not matter. Finishing is one area we are working on, and it’s a big concern for me,” he stated.
With the semifinals approaching, Khan urges fans to come out and support the team.
“Please come and support us in the semifinals, you’ll see a different team,” he assured, hopeful that the team will meet their supporters’ heightened expectations.
The Flick Hygiene Suva team will face Smart Security/Calgary Nadi at 4:30 pm this Saturday at the HFC Bank Stadium in Suva.
