Suva Football Prepares for Semifinals Showdown

The capital city boys are acutely aware of the immense expectations placed upon them as they prepare vigorously for the semifinals.

Guided by coach Babs Khan, Suva Football is tackling its challenges head-on, adjusting to another new coaching strategy this season.

Khan underscores the team’s dedication to adapting to his tactical approach in the lead-up to the semifinals.

Despite their proficiency in maintaining possession and executing passes, Khan highlights that their primary hurdle remains converting these opportunities into goals.

“We could complete 250 passes, but if we don’t score, it doesn’t count. Finishing is one area we’re focusing on, and it’s a significant concern for me,” he stated.

With the semifinals approaching, Khan urges fans to come out in support.

“Please come and support us in the semifinals; you’ll see a different team,” he assured, hopeful that the team will meet the elevated expectations of their supporters.

The Flick Hygiene Suva side faces Smart Security/Calgary Nadi at 4:30 PM this Saturday at the HFC Bank Stadium in Suva.
