The capital city boys are acutely aware of the high expectations placed upon them and are fully committed to preparing for the semifinals.
Guided by coach Babs Khan, the Suva Football team is tackling its challenges head-on as they adapt to a new coaching strategy this season.
Khan emphasizes the team’s dedication to adapting to his tactical style ahead of the semifinals.
Despite their ability to maintain possession and connect passes, Khan acknowledges that converting these opportunities into goals remains their primary challenge.
“We could complete 250 passes, but if we do not score, it does not count. Finishing is one area that we are working on and it’s a significant concern for me,” he stated.
With the semifinals approaching, Khan urges all fans to come out and support the team.
“Please come and support us in the semifinals. You will see a different team,” he assured, optimistic that the team will meet the high expectations of their supporters.
The Flick Hygiene Suva team will face Smart Security/Calgary Nadi at 4:30pm this Saturday at the HFC Bank Stadium in Suva.
