Suva FC Gears Up for High-Stakes Clash Against Navua!

Flick Hygiene Suva FC is focused on improving their performance and avoiding relegation as they prepare to face Navua in round 15 of the Digicel Fiji Premier League this Sunday. After a recent 3-2 win over Nasinu in round 14, the team is eager to build on this momentum.

Head coach Babs Khan expressed his contentment with the team’s preparation for the upcoming match. “The preparation through the week went well for the boys. We have been working on a new style of play, focusing on playing from the back and maintaining possession,” Khan stated.

He noted that Navua would be a challenging opponent, citing their strong display in the Fiji Fact final. “It will be a tough match; Navua is a solid team. They still have their rhythm after drawing with Rewa in round 14, but we will be ready for the challenge,” Khan added.

Despite the competitive nature of the league, Suva is determined to be fully prepared. “We have no injuries in the team; they are fit and ready. Our goal is to escape relegation and get the Suva team back on track and on a winning streak,” he remarked.

Khan urged Suva’s fans and supporters to come out and show their support by attending the match and cheering for the team against Navua.

Additionally, a double-header match will take place at Uprising Sports Centre on Sunday, featuring Nasinu FC competing against Tailevu Naitasiri at 1 PM, followed by the highly anticipated match between Navua and Flick Hygiene Suva FC at 3 PM. Meanwhile, Nadi will host Labasa at Prince Charles Park for a 3 PM kickoff on the same day.
