Suva FC Aims to Soar in Digicel Fiji Premier League Showdown!

Flick Hygiene Suva FC is focused on improving their performance and avoiding relegation as they gear up to take on Navua in round 15 of the Digicel Fiji Premier League this Sunday. The team is riding high after a recent 3-2 win against Nasinu in round 14 and aims to continue their success.

Head coach Babs Khan expressed his satisfaction with the team’s preparations for the upcoming match. “The week went well for the boys; we have been implementing a new style of play, focusing on building from the back and controlling possession,” Khan stated.

Khan recognized the challenge posed by Navua, especially after their strong showing in the Fiji Fact final. “It will be a tough match; Navua is a strong team that recently drew with Rewa in round 14, maintaining their rhythm. We are aware of their capabilities, but we come prepared,” he added.

Despite the tough competition, Suva FC is fully committed to the match. “We have no injuries, the team is fit, and we are aiming to move out of the relegation zone and get back on a winning trajectory,” Khan noted.

He encouraged fans to support the team by attending the match and cheering them on against Navua.

Additionally, there will be a doubleheader at Uprising Sports Centre on Sunday, featuring Nasinu FC against Tailevu Naitasiri at 1pm, followed by the much-anticipated match between Navua and Flick Hygiene Suva FC at 3pm. Nadi will also host Labasa at Prince Charles Park with a kickoff at 3pm on the same day.
