Host Suva emerged victorious in the Vodafone Kaji Rugby Championship, which took place at the HFC Bank Stadium in Suva. The event concluded with Suva claiming the championship titles in both the U13 and U14 boys’ divisions.
In the U13 category, Suva dominated with a convincing 15-0 victory over Ovalau. The U14 team also showcased their skills, triumphing over Ra with a scoreline of 14-0.
On the girls’ side, teams from Vanua Levu claimed the titles in both age grades. Cakaudrove secured the U14 Kajiana girls title by defeating Taveuni 12-0, while Taveuni was victorious in the U13 division.
The championship was a well-attended three-day event featuring 17 districts competing in the U13 and U14 grades.
This year’s championship not only highlighted the talent and competitive spirit of young athletes but also fostered camaraderie among the participating districts. Such events play a crucial role in developing future sports talent in Fiji.
