Suva has emerged victorious in the Vodafone Kaji Rugby Championship, which wrapped up at the HFC Bank Stadium in Suva yesterday. The capital city’s teams excelled in the Boys division, claiming titles in both the U13 and U14 categories. In the U13 match, Suva secured a solid 15-0 victory against Ovalau, while the U14 squad demonstrated their strength with a 14-0 win over Ra.
On the Girls side, teams from Vanua Levu proved to be formidable competitors, capturing the titles in both grades. Cakaudrove claimed the U14 Kajiana girls title with a decisive 12-0 win against Taveuni, while Taveuni emerged victorious in the U13 division.
The championship showcased talent from 17 districts over three days of competition, highlighting the rich rugby culture in the region.
