Suva triumphed in the Vodafone Kaji Rugby Championship held at the HFC Bank Stadium, closing out the tournament with impressive victories. The capital city’s teams dominated in the Boys divisions, securing the titles in both the Under-13 and Under-14 categories. The U13 team achieved a convincing 15-0 win against Ovalau, while the U14 squad excelled with a 14-0 victory over Ra.
On the girls’ side, teams from Vanua Levu emerged as champions in both grades. Cakaudrove claimed the U14 title with a solid 12-0 victory over Taveuni, who also celebrated success by winning the U13 title.
The championship spanned three days and showcased the skills and talent of 17 districts, all competing in the U13 and U14 divisions. This event not only highlighted the growth of rugby among young athletes in Fiji but also fostered a spirit of camaraderie and sportsmanship among the participating teams.
