Raiwaqa Police are set to interview a group of children who were reported for harassing a family in the Wailea settlement of Suva, an incident that occurred in the presence of their parents. Investigations revealed that the children, who live within the same community as the family affected, were seen attempting to remove a beehive situated near the man’s back window.

The complainant expressed a desire not to escalate the issue further but requested that the children receive a formal warning to keep off his property. This case highlights the need for community harmony and the importance of mutual respect among neighbors.

In light of this incident, the Fiji Police Force has issued a reminder to parents and guardians about their responsibility to educate children on respecting the privacy and property of others. They emphasize the necessity of discussing the potential consequences of such behavior, fostering a sense of accountability in the younger generation.

This proactive approach aims to promote positive interactions within communities and reinforce the importance of good neighborly relations.
